A community built around those who answer the call.
For more than two decades, the International Association of First Responder Chaplains has trained, credentialed, and stood beside chaplains who serve police, fire, EMS, and hospital communities.
Our story in brief
IAFRC began as a handful of working chaplains comparing notes after critical incidents. What started as informal mutual support has grown into an international association with state chapters, certified training pathways, peer counseling, and partnerships with departments and ministries across four responder communities.
Our work is grounded in a simple conviction: the people who run toward danger deserve someone who will sit with them in the aftermath — and that someone deserves to be well trained, well supported, and never alone.
